During various spring weekends, a pop-up restaurant, whose host will be Dámaso Vergara on April 17, 18, 24 and 25 and May 1 and 2 during lunch hours.
The winery has large spaces and spectacular gardens, an appropriate setting for the Sanz Cid Family to support the hotel industry in the Valladolid province, which is suffering so much during these months, with this initiative.
The guest will be the Dámaso restaurant, awarded a Sol Repsol, whose chef will create a tasting menu especially for the occasion, in which they will bet mainly on seasonal and Km 0 products. Each period there will be a different guest restaurant, as is the case of the Wabi Sabi Japanese tavern, which has already announced its next participation.
The attendees will accompany the elaborations with the wines of Dehesa de los Canónigos and, later, it will be possible to enjoy the after-meal conversation in the gardens of the estate next to the Duero and the centennial pine forest.
In addition, attendees who are interested in learning about the history of Dehesa de los Canónigos, the certified organic vineyard and the detailed elaboration process of the wines, may arrange a wine tourism visit prior to the meal.
The winery has adopted all the pertinent measures to guarantee adequate security measures against covid-19, certifying itself with the ‘Responsible Tourism’ seal, from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, and the ‘Bsafe’ seal issued by the Family Business of Castile and León.
In the vicinity of the Finca there is the possibility of resting at the Hotel Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena, the first 5-star spa in Castilla y León, located in a Cistercian monastery from the 12th century.
